EQUIPMENT HIRE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Full payment is due 72 hours prior to hire or delivery date.
All responsibility remains with the hirer for the caring of hire equipment when delivered until pick up as there is no insurance on any equipment. If theft occurs while the items are in your care and control you have an obligation for replacement, either through cash settlement or a claim on your own insurance.
Our staff carefully check and pack all orders. If you notice any items missing or damaged when you receive your order, please notify us immediately. when your order is returned all shortages or damages must be paid for.
DAMAGE TO THE MARQUEES
Marquee hirer’s must not modify the structure of the marquee in any way. It is not permitted to adhere/affix any items to the marquee, or write on or damage the marquee in any way. The marquee hirer is liable for all associated costs for any damage to the marquee or furniture however caused, during the hire period.
The hirer will: keep the marquee in first class condition and only use it as it would be used by a careful and prudent owner; not use the marquee for any illegal purpose; report any damage to, or loss of, the marquee to the event manager immediately if such damage or loss occurs; be liable for any breach of this agreement committed by its officers, servants, agents or invitees; not agree, attempt, offer or purport to assign, sub-let, or otherwise part with or attempt to part with or otherwise deal with the marquee and not alter or make any addition or alteration to, or repair of, the marquee
BOND / DEPOSIT
A cash or credit card security deposit is required as stipulated on your invoice before or when the goods are delivered. Bonds by credit card will be refunded to your credit card on the next business day after the date of return. Bonds will not be refunded by the driver. Cash deposits can be refunded to you by cash, credit card or eftpos.
CARTAGE AND LABOUR FEES
While most of the delivery and setup rates are stipulated on our invoice prior to delivery there may be instances where goods are to be delivered or picked up by the company outside our normal trading terms and this will mean that cartage fee will apply according to the distance and degree of difficulty involved.
All equipment must be clean on return or a cleaning fee will be charged on any item returned dirty.
In the event of cancellation by the hirer more than 1 week prior to the event the 25% booking/deposit fee is non-refundable. Less than a weeks cancellation notice will incur an amount of 50% cancellation fee of the total hire charges payable, however all cancellation fee may be transferred to your event at a later date with an expiry period of 6 months.
When an event is to take place on a weekend, our normal procedure is to deliver Friday and pick up Monday. However, if we elect to deliver or pick up on a Saturday or Sunday, we may do so at our expense. If you require the delivery and/or pickup on a Saturday or Sunday, an extra labour fee will be charged. Delivery and pickup times will be advised upon booking confirmation.
When an event is to take place on a public holiday, our normal procedure is to deliver A day prior to the event and pick up usually a day after the event. However, if we elect to deliver or pick up on a Public holiday, we may do so at our expense. If you require the delivery and/or pickup on a Public holiday, an extra labour fee will be charged. Delivery and pickup times will be advised upon booking confirmation

RELEASE AND INDEMNITY
As a condition of hire, each hirer hereby agrees (to the extent permitted by law): a)to release Weddings & All Events, the event manager, event sponsors and each of their agents, affiliates, employees, members, volunteers and any person or body directly or indirectly associated with the event (“those indemnified”) from all and any claims, demands or proceedings arising out of or in connection with the hirer’s use of the hire goods (except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law); and b)to indemnify those indemnified and to keep them indemnified against all liability for all injury, loss or damage arising out of or in connection with hirer’s use of the marquee facility, but a)and b)above will not apply to the extent that such claim, demand, proceedings or liability arises directly out of a breach of this agreement by Weddings & All Events or the negligence of Weddings & All Events or the event manager or their respective contractors, employees or agents.
This release and indemnity continues forever and to the extent legally possible, binds each hirer’s guests, invitees, heirs, successors, executors, administrators, personal representatives and assigns. Weddings & All Events will not be liable to the hirer for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special or punitive damages relating to the performance of this agreement, or arising under or in relation to this agreement, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Weddings & All Events’s total aggregate liability under and in connection with this agreement (including in negligence) will be capped at an amount of the cost of the hire amount provided that such cap will not apply to any claim, action or demand relating to property damage, personal injury or death. All guarantees and implied obligations on the part of Weddings & All Events in relation to this agreement are excluded to the maximum extent permitted by law. In respect of any implied terms or guarantees which Weddings & All Events cannot exclude, to the extent permitted by law, Weddings & All Events’s liability is limited, at its option, to (in relation to goods) replacing or repairing or paying the cost of replacing or repairing the goods or (in relation to services) resupplying or paying the cost of resupplying the services
We have the right to alter our prices without any notice. Reduced charges may be offered for a long term hire.
